Bose Music Products: Great Computer Speakers - The Bose Companion Computer Speakers

Updated on February 24, 2011

Bose Music: Bose Computer Speakers

Bose music systems are some of the best music systems you will ever find.  I can say that with total confidence because I own several Bose music products. One Bose product that is a great addition to anyone's computer or audio collection of wares is the Bose computer speaker system.

I work as a medical transcriptionist and therefore, sound is super important to me. Over the past 15 or so years that I've been doing digital voice files, it has become increasingly important for me to have the best quality speakers to do my job to the best of my ability.

A few years ago, I decided to upgrade my speakers to Bose computer speakers and I have never regretted it for a minute. The quality of sound that I get from my Bose speakers with my headphones plugged in allows me to hear things with ease whereas I struggled before to obtain clarity of voice.

It also doesn't hurt that they also provide me with topnotch sound when I'm not working and just listening to my music!

Let's take a look at why the Bose computer speakers are so superior to traditional computer speakers and what you can do with them!

I have the Bose Companion 2 Series II speakers.

I purchased my set at Best Buy. However, I've seen them recently along with many other Bose products at Fred Meyers for instance and at other retail stores.

You can also find them on line in abundance!

What's Great About Bose Computer Speakers

  • Compact - only about 7-1/2 inches high and a couple inches wide
  • Great for laptops
  • Super for desktop computers - I use mine for my job every day and wouldn't trade
  • Easy to use - basically plug them in a USB port, connect them, and turn the knob
  • Lightweight
  • Tonal balance is built in - hence the 1 knob - no need to adjust any balance of sound
  • Magnetically shielded so they cannot interfere with your data
  • Portable because they are so lightweight and small
  • They work with MP3 players or any other audio device
  • Bose computers will surprise you as they will upgrade any sound
  • They have dual inputs so you can connect 2 devices
  • You can use these speakers for video gaming devices
  • These speakers work with CD players
  • There is a headphone jack in the front of the speaker so you can use them without disturbing anyone
  • You can also use them to play your iTunes library for instance or Internet music such as Pandora - the sound is so deep and rich that it will fill your entire living space
  • Price - while more than some speaker systems, I think the Bose computer speakers are a very reasonable investment to protect something extremely important to me - my ears and also give me the opportunity to hear things I struggled with before

Bose also makes many other kinds of speakers.  I've investigated their products in Bose stores and at various other stores in Washington and Oregon.

For the money that you invest in Bose music equipment, you cannot ever measure the return if you're looking for quality sound. Their amazing technology somehow expands the stereo field and not only produces a better quality sound for high-pitched tones but it also brings out in full timbre the low-pitched tones, which are usually lacking in many speaker systems.

I would suggest having a demo of Bose products before you buy just to make sure you hear for yourself the difference in sound quality.  I think, speaking from experience, once you hear music through a Bose system, like me, you'll be sold on it from that day forward.

Bose computer speakers are a rather simple investment or add-on to your traditional computer or laptop but they can also serve you in many other ways as noted above.

They work with any and all audio devices and create such a warmth of sound you'll know what I mean.....and you won't believe your ears!
