I am a 50-something-year-old medical transcriptionist and business owner by day, seasoned wife and mother of 35 plus years who has devoted my 'spare' time to rescuing and owning/loving dogs and being an advocate for the abused - on any level. 

As to the dogs, each dog's unique past and the never-ending sagas of how that dog became a part of my life and the joyous memories attached to them serve to reiterate the fact that there can always be a new lease or 'leash' on life! You can find some of my earliest writings on blogspot.com

I have many and varied interests, from music to dogs, to books, to health issues, to recipes galore, to travel, to children, to relationships, to photography, to decorating, to sports, to social issues, and to gardening  - to name but a few.  I also love delving into my humorous side and sharing my life stories.

My opinions are based purely on my background and my heart.  I cannot apologize for my love of life or for trying to make it a better world.  Making a better world can be someone seeing patterns and changing them, improving one's lot in life, eating healthier, learning something new, adopting a pet or just laughing yourself silly.  In my humble opinion, it's all the same!

I am in love with life - I am in love with love - on any and all levels be it human or canine.  I am in love with humor as it soothes the soul and I am always in search of one more thing to write about! 'There's another hub!'
